The main body of the Asus Transformer Prime looks much like any other 10-inch slate from the front – it has a substantial black bezel for the user to hold onto and rounded-off corners.
When you flip the tablet round you’ll see that the build quality is well above average thanks to Asus’ use of aluminium with an attractive circular brushed texture radiating out from the centre of the device. The build quality is excellent and the Prime feels extremely solid and well-made. It’s remarkably thin for a tablet too at a mere 8.3mm.
The rest of the back panel is very minimalist, there’s a small pair of ports for the camera lens and flash while the logo tones with the rest of the bodywork and blends in unobtrusively.
